Economía Teoría y Práctica

The aim of this journal, edited by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and published biannually in January and July, is to create a forum for analysis and debate on frontier economic problems related to technological innovation, growth, and development, with emphasis on the study of emerging countries. The journal will publish previously unpublished and original theoretical and/or applied articles, particularly on: phenomena associated with technological change; the links between technological and social innovation and financial markets, sustainable growth and economic development; the role of institutions and economic regulation; analysis of sectorial and regional economic convergence among nations and economic policies (fiscal, monetary, exchange, and industrial). Also, Economia teoría y práctica accepts submissions for publication of scientific articles on novel topics in economic science.
