Abstract

The new paradigm of digitalized manufacturing emerges as a disruptive stage, identified as different from the past because of the speed, extension and impact on society. The questions to be elucidated include i) the characteristics of the incorporation of digitalization in international production.  ii) the results of an exploratory study applied to a group of Mexican companies of different sizes that advanced in the application of digital technologies, with the purpose of identifying -the characteristics of the process of analogical transition to digital and. -The intern and external obstacles faced by the companies in the transition towards digitalization.
