Abstract

This analysis focuses on identifying the productive characteristics of automotive assembly plants located in the country, in order to evaluate the dynamics of the labor market, framed in the technological automation processes. It is carried out through an agent-based simulation, structured in MESA Python, the results of which point in two directions: a) The industry's employment rate depends mainly on the rate of expansion of small vehicle exports to the US; b) Its growth is sustained by consolidating the gap between productivity and compensation for human work.
