Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The document has not been published previously or submitted for consideration to any other journal and the author has signed an agreement with the responsible editor stipulating: rights of authorship and publication in any printed and electronic media.
- The file submitted is in Word.
- Graphs and tables are in a separate document in Excel.
- The text has a maximum length of 9000 words or 25 pages (including notes and list of bibliographic references); it is formatted with 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman 12-point font, and page numbers.
- On the cover page the text includes full title, abstract (in both Spanish and English, no more than 150 words each), key words (maximum five), and Journal of Economic Literature classification.
- Bibliographic references and citations in the text use Harvard format, but authors’ first names in the list of references are not abbreviated. List only references which have been used in the body of the manuscript.
- Follow the instructions included in ENSURING A BLIND REVIEW.
- Once the manuscript has been accepted by double blind arbitration for publication, the author must send the final version with style correction for publication in the corresponding ETYP number.
